Restoration for Health

June 6, 2014

Long time since I last “pressed”, but have made some huge steps towards my goals of becoming a wood worker! Two years ago I wanted to move to NYC and land a job that could support my hobby of building furniture and hopefully become more than just a weekend hobby! Since that goal was set I landed a job working for the Veterans Hospital were I am a carpenter, (the photos bellow show some of the work we produce), which is far from wood working but has afforded me the opportunity to continue wood working plus support my fellow vets with a better environment to be treated! With lots of support from family and friends I look forward to returning back to school to further my goals as a professional wood worker! “It’s never too late in life to be inspired!”

Thanks everyone for your continual support!

Dave
